Órla is appearing with Macnas Theatre Co in Gorky Park Moscow, for the St Patrick's Festival Spectacle 2014.
She is appearing in The Finland International Improv Festival, Tampere, 2014 where she is also teaching a masterclass.
Órla plays Mary Quigley (Dublin 3's favourite psychic), in the upcoming feature film 'North Circular Road'

Órla is an experienced actor, and began her stage work by playing the lead role in Celebration with The National Youth Theatre of Ireland. Having trained extensively in Ireland and the US, she went on to play with many of the larger and emerging Irish theatre companies including The Abbey, Red Kettle, Punchbag, The Flying Pigs, Glasshouse, Iomhá Ildánach, The Razor’s Edge and Alive-O, and has toured both Ireland and the UK with a myriad of productions. She has been involved in many award-winning theatre projects globally, including productions garnering an Edinburgh Fringe First Award and a Moss Hart Award.

While working in the US for over a decade, Órla performed with The Forum Theatre (MA), Freehold (WA), Baba Yaga (WA), Edge Theatre Ensemble (WA), Ladykillers, and Macha Monkey (WA).  Having a particular interest in new and devised work, Órla became involved extensively in Improvisational Theatre and worked with The Seattle Neutrino Project, goga, Edge Improv and The Spolin Players to name a few.

She performs and teaches Improvisational Theatre in Ireland and is the Artistic Director of Galway-based Company The Spontaneous Theatre People. Órla is a working Playwright, and has a strong understanding of text - recent Film/TV roles include Garda O’Malley in Stay, Lily McEvoy in Marú, Eileen Flood in Jack TaylorMagdalene Martyrs, and Mary Quigley in North Circular Road.

Órla is an award winning Storyteller (Listowel Writers’ Week Eamonn Kelly Award) and Voiceover Artist. For radio and voice she is equally in demand for her warm straight reads as for her nuanced characters.
